BROOKLYN DISTRICT SPORTSWEAR DISTRIBUTION PROJECT
Between 1998 and 2009 district ballclub owners in a commercial Brooklyn baseball organization developed a line of custom district sportswear featuring names of historic world famous neighborhoods in each of the eighteen [18] Brooklyn Community Districts defined in the New York City Charter of 1976. The business model for the Brooklyn District Sportswear Distribution Project uses Brooklyn-based sportswear production and does distribution through 18 District Distributors each selling to 10 District ReSellers and 10 District Dealers as the primary basis for growing from Brooklyn-only to citywide, regional, national, and global sales.
The currently available line of Brooklyn District Sportswear™ that is now being produced and distributed in this project consists of two [2] low-end Items, a cotton district tee shirt and cotton twill district hat both retailing for $25; and three [3] high-end items, a gift-boxed district tee shirt, a wool district street hat, and a wool district field hat, each retailing for $45. These items are available for each of the six [6] Brooklyn districts shown in the Directory of Brooklyn District Sportswear below.
Brooklyn District Sportswear is only sold in Brooklyn through Distributors (individuals), ReSellers retail establishments, and Dealers (individuals) in each of the eighteen Brooklyn districts.

Half of the revenue generated from the sales of Brooklyn District Sportswear goes to the distributors, resellers and dealers in the eighteen Brooklyn districts.
